Agenda - 9h30 to 13h00
Session 1 Speaker: Michael Cote |
"Digital Transformation" just means creating better software This talk goes over the what and why of “digital transformation,” and drawing on actual experiences from organizations putting into practice recommends next steps and pitfalls to avoid. Practices like DevOps and cloud native technologies are covered as well. Based on the ebook "Crafting Your Cloud-Native Strategy", this talk will help you figure out how to get started and, hopefully, help you understand why you should. |
Session 2 Speaker: Jakub Pilimon |
Cloud event driven architectures with Spring Boot and Spring Cloud Stream Tired of fancy abstractions without actual down to earth implementation? In this talk we will go through both benefits and problems by implementing a real example of event-driven architecture. This will be a lot live coding and we will tackle how to break monoliths. We are going to tackle the problems step by step from various perspectives. From the point of view of the stakeholders our software should have quick time to market, ability to do complex data reporting and fast way to extend and to deploy new features. |
Session 3 Speaker: Fabio Marinelli |
Accelerate your journey from development to production for applications and containers The growing business imperative to leverage software as a competitive advantage is increasingly fueling demand for continuous delivery (CD)—the notion that organizations should be able to build, test and release functionality faster and with little friction, so that the lag time from idea conception to production is minimized. Coupled with the continued proliferation of microservices as the dominant architectural pattern for cloud-native applications, the continuous delivery approach demands shorter cycles of application delivery. |
